Quotation Process

We believe that this is the first step to any strong EMS relationship. Our commitment to you begins from the quotation process where we strive to deliver the most accurate, comprehensive and competitive quote in the most expedient fashion. Prior to beginning this process, please fill out our Contact Form to help us serve you better

 

In order to streamline the quotation process as well as improving the accuracy of the quote, we ask that you use the following check list for your request for quotation (RFQ)

 

 

Basic Information

1. Name and contact information of the customer

2. General description of the device

3. Type of assembly technology required eg. wire bonding, through-hole, SMD/SMT etc.

4. Annual quantity required broken down by shipments

5. If customer will supply components and which ones

6. Level of testing will be required. Please include sample test forms if available

7. Type of regulatory constraints if any eg. lead-free soldering.

8. Date the customer expects the quote as well as any time constraints the customer is facing

9. Copy of the User’s Manual is often desirable for our own understanding of the product

 

 

PC Board Assembly Minimal Requirements

 

1. BOM with supplier and supplier parts number grouped by assembly technology (wire bonding/SMT/DIP etc.)

2. Which components can be substituted

3. Drawings/pictures of components and assemblies throughout the manufacturing process

4. Placement CAD file for SMD

5. PCB diagram including overall dimensions (standard electronic files are preferred)

6. Specialized masks, fixtures, tooling required and which can be supplied by the customer

7. Required testing procedures and equipment
